Mandy Matney, a KU alumna and award-winning investigative journalist, will be the keynote speaker at the KADC Annual Conference on December 1, 2023. Ms. Matney lives on Hilton Head Island in South Carolina, and she has covered the Murdaugh family since the 2019 boat crash that killed Mallory Beach. After the double homicide of Maggie and Paul Murdaugh, the Murdaugh Murders podcast was created to provide exclusive insight into the intrigue surrounding the murder investigation, life in Hampton County, and several suspicious deaths that all are interconnected. Her latest podcast, Cup of Justice, explores important court cases from around the world with a focus on empowering listeners and holding public agencies and officials accountable.

The KADC Annual Conference is seeking approval for a total of 12.5 hours of CLE, including 2 hours of Ethics, pending in both Kansas and Missouri.
Our Annual Business Meeting and Awards Luncheon will be Friday, December 1, from 11:40 a.m. to 12:40 p.m.

Conference Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made by 5:00pm CST on November 22, 2023, will be issued a refund less a $50.00 administrative fee, no refunds will be issued for cancellations requested after 5:00pm CST on November 22, 2023. Please note this is NOT the hotel cancellation policy.
